Igor Kucinic has been cutting silhouettes by hand since 1996: fifteen years in busy tourist areas of Spain and Europe and, since 2010, events only, close to a thousand of them. A graphic designer by training, he looks for the likeness in the shape of the whole head, not just the nose or the chin.
He works standing among the guests, at an average of 35 silhouettes an hour, across Europe and the Middle East. He speaks Spanish, English, Italian and Croatian, and also communicates in French.

It does, and few things do. A six-year-old and her grandmother sit down for the same two minutes and are surprised in the same way. Nobody has to join in, nobody has to perform.

I am based in Barcelona and travel from there. Regular work across Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, the UK and Switzerland, and frequent trips to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha and Kuwait. Yes, and at corporate events that is the norm. The portrait is mounted on a card, a sleeve or a frame with your identity. I prepare the material beforehand with your marketing team.
